Aqua-calypse Here & Now & Then

by Erie Maude Rosser

Imagine a future, a present, a past, where all the ice caps have melted on this planet. This would lead to approximately 200 feet of sea level rise, turning Seattle into an archipelago. In a class on shorelines this last spring, I was inspired to create an art installation of imagined found objects from this other world.

Erie Maude Rosser considers themelf a reader before a writer, but when they do write, their work examines apocalypse from different avenues of attack: science/fiction, theology, environmentalism, and critical theory. Their passions are working with youth, reading visionary fiction, and breathing, praying, and playing in the woods.
